I believe fundamental changes are required to control corruption. As for the treatment for minorities, during Yuan and Qing dynasty, Han nationality never got over the fact that China was rules by the minority nationalities, even after hundreds of years of ruling. How could we expect the Tibetan or the Uyghurs to welcome us with open arms when we erode their culture under the cover of economy prosperity. We should go there to learn first instead of change. My two cents.
